Armory Center for the Arts

The Armory Center for the Arts has three fully operable letterpresses and much of the printed work from the Woman's Building's Graphic Arts Center, which closed in 1991. Among the printed materials are examples by former artists and students at the Woman's Building. The bulk of this work reflects the importance and emergence of a woman's "voice" in the visual arts.

Beyond Baroque Literary/Arts Center

Beyond Baroque is a small, independent literary archive center. Its holdings include chapbooks, volumes of fiction and poetry, literary periodicals, small edition works, and audio recordings of events at the center. Historical Society of Long Beach

The Historical Society of Long Beach (HSLB) was formed in 1962 with the mission to collect, preserve, and present the city’s history. Throughout the years the HSLB has occupied many locations around the city, settling at its current location in Bixby Knolls in 2007. The June L. Mazer Lesbian Collection, formerly the West Coast Lesbian Collections, was founded in Oakland, California, in 1981. Six years later it was moved to Los Angeles by Connexxus Women's Center/Centro de Mujeres, and it acquired its present name in 1987 after the death of June L. Mazer, a community activist and an invaluable supporter of the collection.
