What is LA Heritage Day?
LA Heritage Day is an annual celebration that brings together heritage groups (Historical Societies, Museums, Preservation Groups, etc.) to celebrate and promote LA’s shared heritage. About 80 groups set up booths and interact with over 2500 attendees (2013 numbers).

When is LA Heritage Day?
LA Heritage Day is held annually on a Sunday in April. This year's event is on Sunday, April 27, 2014 11am to 4pm inside and around the Pico House at El Pueblo Historical Monument.

Who puts on LA Heritage Day?
LA Heritage Day is presented by the LA Heritage Alliance and El Pueblo Historical Monument, in association with the El Pueblo Park Assn.

What is there to do at LA Heritage Day?
Besides visiting booths of the assembled groups, there are presentations, readings, and lectures; activities for children and families; tours; and historical car displays. There are also 7 free museums adjacent to the event to visit.

How much does it cost to attend?
LA Heritage Day is a free event to attend for the public. Participating groups donate in order to cover the costs of the event.
