The Allendale Branch Library's popular "Speaking Of" series will continue on Saturday, February 2, 2013 with a discussion with Bob Stane, an iconic figure in the Southern California entertainment scene for over fifty years.  Stane has owned and operated The Ice House in Pasadena and The Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena.  The 18-foot-tall Fork in the Road, a surprise 75th birthday present to Stane in 2009, has become one of Pasadena's most celebrated and beloved works of public art.

"Speaking Of" is an ongoing series of quarterly programs which highlights the careers, and illuminates the creative journeys, of enduring artistic and cultural figures residing in Pasadena and neighboring communities.  Incorporating a moderated discussion and audience Q&A, the free programs focus on people who have left an indelible impression on the artistic and cultural landscape of Pasadena and beyond.
